Donations and Contributions to the Recreation Center
You may donate in many ways. Maybe you have a specific program or area of the Center in which you would like to contribute. Your talents, time and financial contributions are always welcome. If you have specific questions about our needs or if you are not sure how to best make a contribution, just give us a call and we will be happy to speak with you over the phone or meet with you in person.
On behalf of the Town of Waynesville and The Waynesville Recreation Center, we would like to thank those who have donated tax-deductible $ which went towards purchasing our first Automatic External Defibrillators to have on site at the Waynesville Recreation Center. This first one cost under $1700. As of today, we've received $1935.00. Any more money received for this fund, will go towards purchasing a second one, which will be placed in our Old Armory Building. The defibrillators will be used by trained personnel of our staff in the event of medical emergencies.
